Rowntree cited for alleged strike

Graham Rowntree has been cited for allegedly striking Auckland lock Bryce Williams in the Lions’ 17-13 victory at Eden Park today.

The incident in question occurred in the first minute of the game and Rowntree, the Lions’ veteran prop, will appear before an independent judiciary hearing at 11pm tonight, Irish time.
