Nick Evans will bounce back from the disappointment of missing out on All Blacks selection by making his debut for Otago against the British and Irish Lions on Saturday.

Evans, who along with Craig Newby made the switch from North Harbour to Otago this season, may have failed to make the 26-man New Zealand squad but he will use his chance against the Lions and his inclusion in the Junior All Blacks squad to push his claim for greater honours.
