Piri Weepu has accused the Lions of underhand tactics during the New Zealand Maori’s famous 19-13 win in Hamilton on Saturday.

The scrum-half returned to his Wellington province on Monday to prepare to take on the tourists again and warned his Wellington team-mates they will need to rise about the niggling off-the-ball tactics employed by the Lions if they are to inflict a second successive defeat on Brian O’Driscoll’s men.
