England and Wasps lock Simon Shaw has been called onto the Lions tour of New Zealand as a replacement for the injured Malcolm O’Kelly.

The Irishman, 30, sustained a recurrence of an old groin injury in training yesterday that proved to be more serious than the Lions medical team first thought.
