Leicester flanker Neil Back will face an English Rugby Football Union disciplinary hearing on Thursday that could affect his involvement in the Lions tour.

Back has been cited for an alleged act of foul play in the Zurich Premiership Final at Twickenham on Saturday.

The veteran forward was involved in an incident with Wasps flanker Joe Worsley which left his opposite number needing 13 stitches.

The RFU’s hearing will be held in London on Thursday evening and chaired by His Honour Judge Jeff Blackett. Any ban could run into the early matches of the Lions tour.
