Connacht sign Irish U21

Blackrock College and Ireland Under-21 centre, John Hearty, has signed for Connacht.

Connacht CEO Gerry Kelly said: "John is a player we have had our eye on for some time, so it is good that the way is now clear for him to come and play for Connacht.

Kelly has also targeted Heary’s clubmate and Ireland Under-21 captain David Gannon.

"David Gannon has yet to put pen to paper but we hope to finalise that soon. Both of course are highly regarded by Michael Bradley," said Kelly.
