All Blacks' Spencer set for Saints

Northampton have admitted they have made an offer to Carlos Spencer in the hope of luring the All Blacks fly-half to Franklin’s Gardens.

The 29-year-old has won 35 caps for New Zealand and is an obvious target for the Saints, who will lose Shane Drahm to Worcester at the end of the season while former England international Paul Grayson is moving into coaching.
