Galwegians earn valuable away win

Galwegians picked up their fourth win of the AIB League campaign as a second half penalty try proved the deciding factor at Stradbrook.
Playing with the wind in the first, 'Wegians found it hard to initially break down the home side's resolve, with 'Rock fighting to garner a final home win for coach Stephen McIvor in his last season in charge.
Connacht prop Peter Bracken - who is leaving to join NEC Harlequins in the summer - muscled over on 39 minutes for John Cleary to convert, and set up the westerners for a 7-3 half-time lead.
Conor Kilroy had earlier kicked a penalty for 'Rock and although Dave Gavin got in for a smart 'Rock touch down on the restart, 'Wegians held firm thanks to their penalty try.
Kilroy kicked an injury-time penalty for 'Rock, but time ran out for McIvor's men.
