Ulster scrum-half Neil Doak has announced his intention to retire from the professional game at the end of this season.

Doak, a former international cricketer, made his Ulster debut in 1995 against Northern Transvaal and has accumulated 75 caps for the club as well as eight appearances for Ireland A.

The emergence of Kieran Campbell and the high profile signing of Waikato's Isaac Boss from New Zealand have played a part in his decision.
