Azzurri decision on Kirwan delayed by Pope's death

Italy coach John Kirwan will know if he is to keep his job in two weeks after the sport’s governing body has mourned the death of Pope John Paul II.

Kirwan is under contract until the 2007 Rugby World Cup but failure to win a game at the RBS 6 Nations has left him on thin ice.
