Wales' Williams takes Six Nations accolade

Martyn Williams is very proud to be voted RBS 6 Nations player of the championship but believes there were plenty of other candidates in Wales’ Grand Slam side.

The modest Wales openside flanker earned the accolade after receiving nearly 8,000 of the 23,000 votes cast by the public, to beat off the challenge of Ireland captain Brian O’Driscoll and countryman Shane Williams.
