Ireland's Rugby World Cup Sevens campaign got off to a disappointing start as they were overturned by Pool A rivals USA in Hong Kong.

The Scots defeated Ireland 33-14, with a converted Roland Reid try getting them off to a perfect start before Ian Humphreys replied with an Irish try.
