Munster confirm Lima signing

Munster have confirmed the signing of Samoan star Brian Lima ahead of the deadline for the knockout stages of the Heineken Cup.

Lima, Samoa's all-time top scorer, was nominated along with UCC scrum-half Frank Murphy as their additional players.

33-year-old Lima joins Munster on a short-term contract for the remainder of the season.

Lima scored a try for the South in last week's IRB Rugby Aid match at Twickenham in aid of the tsunami disaster appeal.
