Canale ruled out for Italy

Italian winger Gonzalo Canale will miss Saturday’s RBS 6 Nations clash against Wales due to a left shoulder injury.

The Benetton Treviso player was included by coach John Kirwan in the starting line-up to face the Welsh at the Flaminio stadium this weekend.

However, the 22-year-old suffered the shoulder injury during Wednesday’s training, forcing Kirwan to reconsider his plans.

Kirwan will name his revised line-up later today.
