Third-from-bottom Galwegians surrendered a 16-3 half-time lead to a rampaging Clontarf at Crowley Park, as the north Dubliners went top on the footing of four second half tries.

'Tarf racked up a 25-16 success, and their fifth bonus point in nine games as Warren O'Kelly, Conor Mahony and substitutes Simon O'Donnell and Darragh O'Shea breached the home side's line.

Scott Donald did score the try of the game for Galwegians, making a 50-metre break off the base of a scrum on halfway in the opening quarter.

Justin Meagher converted four first half penalties for the home side, with David Connellan also notching a place kick in the final quarter.
