Denis Leamy has won the Guinness Draught Can Celtic League Player of the Month award after two outstanding performances in the 3-0 win over Connacht and the 13-9 win against The Ospreys.

Munster are now one point behind The Ospreys in their bid to win the Celtic League for the second time.

The Guinness Draught Can Celtic League Player of the Month is decided by members of the national sports media and continues throughout the Celtic League.

The September award was won by Gary Brown of Leinster, Christian Cullen (Munster) was the October winner and David Holwell of (Leinster) was the November nomination.

Meanwhile Munster will wait on the fitness of Rob Henderson before deciding their exact make-up for their final Pool 4 encounter with Harlequins at Twickenham on Saturday.

Henderson will look for permission from specialists to play with a slightly fractured cheekbone.

Otherwise, it is likely that Shaun Payne will stand in at centre and Mossie Lawlor will retian his place on the wing.
