Scotland hit by Macfadyen injury
Scotland coach Matt Williams has been hit with another body blow ahead of the RBS Six Nations campaign.
Glasgow number seven Donnie Macfadyen has been sidelined for three months after an operation on his left knee revealed more damage than was previously feared.
It could effectively end MacFadyen's season. He has been one of the bright spots in what has been a bleak year for Scotland's regional and national sides.
Worse again, three other Glasgow players - Rory Kerr, Sam Pinder, and Colin Gregor - are having operations this week.
