All Black Marshall to sign for Leeds
All Blacks legend Justin Marshall has signed a two year contract that will take him to Leeds Tykes from the start of next season.
This is something of a coup for Leeds and they will be bringing on board a man who has won four Super 12 titles with Canterbury Crusaders.
Marshall will hope to bow out of New Zealand by forcing his way past Byron Kelleher for the scrumhalf berth for the Lions Tour there in the summer.
Marshall is the most capped back for the All Blacks and is the third most capped player of all time for New Zealand.
He made his Test debut in 1995 and played in the World Cup in 1999 and 2003. He also captained New Zealand in the 1997 tour of Britain and was part of the team which won the Tri-Nations in 1999, 2000 and 2003.
He is the sixth highest try scorer of all time for the All Blacks having scored 24 test tries and his last cap came in August 2004 in South Africa, although he played against New Zealand this autumn for the Barbarians at Twickenham.
