Marsh dismisses Japan rumours
French centre Tony Marsh has rubbished rumours that he would leave Europe for a lucrative retirement plan in the less demanding surrounds of Japan.
His contract at Clermont Auvergne expires at the end of the season and the 32-year-old will survey his options then.
"I don't deny that I was contacted by a Japanese club, but, if there is a thing which I can say on my future, it is that I shall not going to play in Japan. For the rest, nothing is decided," he said.
"I'm at the end of my contract with Clermont at the end of this season and, very frankly, I do not know what's going to happen. It depends on many things but I really do not want to speculate."
