Gaffney delays naming Munster side

Munster coach Alan Gaffney has decided to wait until Friday before announcing his side to meet the Neath-Swansea Ospreys on Saturday.

Ronan O'Gara's broken finger will mean a first Heineken Cup start this season for Paul Burke and he will have a task on his hands to get his backline moving.

Meanwhile the Opreys Wales international centre Sonny Parker has laid down a challenge to Munster ahead of the match.

"It's going to be one of the biggest matches I'll have played in outside of international rugby. There's everything to play for and it should be a superb atmosphere," said Parker.

"Munster are obviously a class outfit, but I am very confident about our chances. I really think we can pull it out because these boys in our team are amazing players.

"On our day, we can take anyone apart. We've got an awesome pack who give us an excellent platform and, on a fine day, we can make miracles happen in the backs. The guys we have got out there, the likes of Shane (Williams) and Gavin (Henson), those boys have got amazing skills."
