Clontarf top table after win over Garryowen
Clontarf 32 Garryowen 19
Clontarf moved top of the AIB League Division One table after a four-try demolition job of an off-form Garryowen at Castle Avenue.
Phil Werahiko's side picked up their third bonus point in five games as wing Mark Hewitt, centre Conor Mahony and pack heavyweights Dave Moore and Simon O'Donnell touched down in an impressive display.
The Limerick side - who lost their 100% record against Harlequins seven days ago - could only muster a late revival as Peter Malone and Mark Melbourne crossed the 'Tarf whitewash.
The Dubliners ran up a 21-6 half-time lead as Hewitt, Mahony and Moore scored, with Garryowen scrum-half Gerry Hurley knocking over two penalties.
A dour second half saw the visitors edge it 13-11 but even with Leinster lock Aidan Kearney sin-binned late on, 'Tarf held firm with Dave McAllister adding a cushion with two late penalties.
