Clermont prop charged

Clermont Auvergne prop David Attoub is to appear before an independent disciplinary committee to answer a citing charge.

Attoub was cited after a complaint by the Borders following the European Challenge Cup second round first leg tie at Stade Marcel Michelin on December 5.

Attoub is alleged to have grabbed an opponent’s face and been guilty of gouging during the match, which the French side won 44-14.
