King of spin Campbell joins Lions set-up

British Prime Minister Tony Blair’s former right-hand man Alastair Campbell has been appointed as a consultant to the British and Irish Lions, it was confirmed tonight.

Reports just over a week ago suggested the former British government communications director would be signed up to help with the media side of the tour.
