Springboks coach Jake White has made one enforced change in his starting line-up for Saturday’s clash against England at Twickenham.

Wing Jean de Villiers is promoted off the bench as replacement for Ashwin Willemse, who suffered a broken toe during the 17-12 defeat against Ireland last weekend.

But White has otherwise kept faith with the team beaten in Dublin, as the Springboks target a first victory over England from six attempts.

Two switches among the replacements see Jaque Fourie taking over from de Villiers, while there is also a call-up for highly-rated South African sevens star Bryan Habana, who features instead of Gaffie du Toit.

The Springboks have not beaten England at Twickenham since 1997, but they will be determined to get their tour back on track following the Lansdowne Road loss.

South Africa team to face England at Twickenham on Saturday November 20:

P Montgomery; B Paulse, M Joubert; De Wet Barry, J de Villiers, J van der Westhuyzen, F Du Preez; O Du Randt, J Smit (captain), E Andrews, B Botha, V Matfield, S Burger, AJ Venter, J van Niekerk.

Replacements: H Shimange, CJ van der Linde, D Rossouw, G Britz, M Claassens, J Fourie, B Habana.
