Eight players have been added to the Irish squad of 22 that played against South Africa.

The team to play USA Eagles in the permanent tsb international will be selected from the enlarged squad of 30 and will be announced tomorrow following a training session at Terenure RFC.

Forwards (4): Simon Best (Ulster – Belfast Harlequins), Leo Cullen (Leinster – Blackrock College), Denis Leamy (Munster – Cork Constitution), Aidan McCullen (Leinster – Lansdowne).

Backs (4): Tommy Bowe (Ulster – Belfast Harlequins), Gavin Duffy (NEC Harlequins), Anthony Horgan (Munster – Cork Constitution), Shaun Payne (Munster – Dolphin).

Not considered due to injury: Victor Costello (Leinster - St. Mary’s College), Kieran Dawson (London Irish), Gordon D’Arcy (Leinster - Lansdowne), Keith Gleeson (Leinster – St. Mary’s College), John Kelly (Munster – Cork Constitution), Neil Best (Ulster – Belfast Harlequins), Neil McMillan (Ulster – Ballymena), John O’Sullivan (Connacht – Garryowen), Alan Quinlan (Munster – Shannon), David Wallace (Munster – Garryowen), Roger Wilson (Ulster - Belfast Harlequins).
