Tamarua fails medical for Ulster

In recent weeks, Ulster have been hit with one bad break after another.

Now, former Harlequin Tu Tamarua, earmarked to cover for the back row absence of Neil McMillan, has failed the formality of a medical examination.

Tamarua could not successfully complete all aspects of a stringent medical put in place by the Irish Rugby Football Union and Ulster Rugby.

Coach Mark McCall will continue in the elusive search for a back row player for the rest of the season.
