Jonny O’Connor has been named in Ireland’s 30-strong squad for next month’s autumn internationals.

Concerns over England’s lack of a stand-out openside following the retirement of veteran Neil Back led to reports the world champions were courting Wasps flanker O’Connor who would become eligible for them next year on residency grounds.
