Payne, O'Callaghan out of Munster squad

Munster coach Alan Gaffney has decided to leave Shaune Payne and Donncha O'Callaghan out of an extended 26-man squad for their Heineken Cup encounter with Harlequins at Thomond Park on Saturday.

Payne is still feeling the effects of a high tackle from last weekend and O'Callaghan has not fully recovered from a torn calf muscle.

Other than that, Gaffney will look to Tom Bowman or Trevor Hogan to fill the gap left by O'Callaghan and new signing Paul Devlin will be among those in contention on the wing.

Coach Alan Gaffney expects to finalise his starting line-up on Thursday.
