New signing to start for Leinster

Former Wellington Hurricane David Holwell will be asked to improve Leinster's back play on his début against Edinburgh at Donnybrook on Sunday.

The Kiwi must improve Leinster's control with the boot, and Felipe Contepomi will shift to inside centre alongside Brian O'Driscoll.

Brian O'Meara takes over from Guy Easterby and Girvan Dempsey returns to full back for the benched Denis Hickie.

There are also changes in the forward pack with Emmett Byrne, Leo Cullen and Aidan McCullen given the responsibility to re-ignite Leinster.

Coach Declan Kidney has also left a vacancy amongst the back replacments which will be confirmed closer to the game.
