Former Connacht coach on shortlist for Ballymena post

Former Connacht and Ireland A coach Steph Nell could be in line for a quick return to Ireland as head coach to All Ireland League Division One club Ballymena.

Nel was last seen in charge of the Rotherham Titans as they disappeared almost without trace from the Zurich Premiership.

The South African is thought to be on a short list of three, including two Australians in former Wallaby A coach Adrian Thiomposon and the lesser known Tom Barker.
