ERC signs deal with French broadcaster

European Rugby Cup Limited announced a two year extension today of their television deal with French satellite broadcaster Sport+.

Frenchman Jean-Pierre Lux, chairman of the ERC, said: "We are delighted that Sport+ will be one of our broadcast partners for the next two seasons".

"They did show a number of matches last season but now they are on board to bring more Heineken Cup matches to an even wider audience in France, in particular, during the 2004 / 2005 and 2005 / 2006 seasons.
