Leinster sign Hurricanes' Holwell on one-year deal

Leinster have signed Wellington Hurricanes out-half David Holwell on a one-year deal from the Southern Hemisphere franchise.

Coach Declan Kidney has moved to strengthen an area in which Leinster have struggled over the last number of years.

Holwell, the Hurricanes' highest point-scorer in the Super-12s, will provide extra competition for the recovering Felipe Contepomi, David McAllister and the versatile Brian O'Meara.
