Leinster rule Keith Gleeson out until February

Leinster Flanker Keith Gleeson faces a six-month spell on the sidelines after undergoing surgery on a broken leg.

The Irish International fractured both his tibia and fibula during a training accident on Saturday.

The Province claim that he will not be able to return to training until February at the earliest.

It means that new Leinster boss Declan Kidney will be without Gleeson’s services for the majority of the Celtic League and the Heineken Cup Pool games.

Gleeson will also miss Ireland’s Autumn Internationals.
