Bath have appointed former Wales skipper Jonathan Humphreys as their captain for the new season.

Humphreys, aged 35, led Bath during England lock Danny Grewcock’s absence through international commitments last term, and was also in charge when they contested the Zurich Premiership final against Wasps at Twickenham.

The former Cardiff hooker will be assisted by England internationals Mike Tindall and Steve Borthwick in their role as vice-captains.
