Springboks dominating Wales at break
South Africa 27 Wales 6
South Africa dominated matters towards the end of the opening period to open up a comfortable 27-6 half-time lead over Wales at Loftus Versfeld.
The tourists took an early lead through Gavin Henson’s monstrous third-minute penalty but the Springboks hit back in decisive fashion.
They scored three tries through captain John Smit, Brent Russell and winger Breyton Paulse while Percy Montgomery was on fine form with the boot.
