Wales will have four teams in the Heineken Cup next season but European rugby chiefs will cut the guaranteed places to three for the next campaign.

The European Rugby Cup Board met in Dublin today to agree the structure of the tournament and Welsh representation in the competition was high on the agenda following the switch from five to four regions at the end of last season.
