Scotland lead Samoa at half-time

Fly-half Gordon Ross scored his second Test try as Scotland earned a hard-fought half-time lead over Samoa in Wellington.

Scotland, in a team with six changes, fell behind to a fifth-minute penalty from Roger Warren.

But the Scots worked a foothold and took the lead courtesy of two penalties from Chris Paterson before Ross’ try just before the interval.
