Gloucester release Roncero from contract
Gloucester have agreed to release Argentinian prop Rodrigo Roncero from his contract.
The 27-year-old joined Gloucester in September 2002 and has made 22 Zurich Premiership appearances.
A fully qualified doctor, Roncero intends to return to his home city of Buenos Aires.
“I’m returning to catch up with friends and family,” Roncero said.
“My current plans are to go home and get involved with the national side for the summer Tests, but we’ll have to see what the long-term holds.”
Meanwhile, Simon Amor has agreed a new two-year contract with Gloucester.
Amor, who is also captain of the England Sevens team, has made 10 Zurich Premiership appearances this season.
