London Irish today announced two appointments to its management team.

Tony Stanger (36), the former Scotland international winger joins the club as speed and skills coach.

Tony made 52 international appearances between 1989 and 1998 and toured with the Lions in South Africa in 1997.

He graduated from Edinburgh University with an honours degree in Applied Sport Science.

He is a member of the British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences and is working for the RFU Level 3 Coaching Award.

During his club playing career he played for Border Reivers, Edinburgh Reivers, Grenoble and Leeds Tykes where he has been Assistant Academy Manger.

Megan Crossley (26) is the club’s new assistant physiotherapist.

Megan has a BSc degree in Physiotherapy from the University of East London and is qualified in sports therapy and massage.

Prior to joining London Irish Megan worked with the Arsenal FC Academy, in the NHS and in private practice.

Megan has been a regular supply physiotherapist at London Irish since her academic placement with the club in the summer of 2001.

Andrew Leaver takes over as head physiotherapist with special responsibility for the Academy and Paul Gamble becomes strength and conditioning coach.
