West calls time on career

Leicester and England hooker Dorian West has confirmed he will retire at the end of the season and seek to move into a coaching role.

West, 36, told the Leicester Mercury: “We have got three league games left and, hopefully, two in the play-offs, and then I’m finishing and looking to go into coaching.

“It’s getting more difficult to train every day. I think it’s about time.”
