Welsh ref for Munster-Wasps clash
Welsh referee Nigel Williams will take charge of the Heineken Cup semi-final showdown between Munster and Wasps in Dublin on Sunday week.
Williams, who controlled last season’s semi-final that saw Perpignan defeat Leinster at Lansdowne Road, refereed Munster’s victory over Stade Francais five days ago.
English World Cup official Tony Spreadbury has been appointed to the first semi-final, an all-French affair between Toulouse and Biarritz in Bordeaux on April 24.
And it will continue a high-profile month for Spreadbury, who is in the middle for this weekend’s Powergen Cup final between Sale Sharks and Newcastle at Twickenham.
