Leeds have signed England Under-21 centre Chris Bell from Zurich Premiership rivals Harlequins.

Bell, who helped England win the Six Nations Grand Slam at under-21 level this season, has agreed a two-year contract, starting next term.

The 20-year-old scored tries against Ireland and France as England enjoyed a Six Nations clean sweep.

“Chris is a player we have been monitoring for a while, and I am delighted he has agreed to join us for next season,” said Leeds rugby director Phil Davies.

“He is another young, exciting English player in our squad, and hopefully, he can bring the undoubted talent he has shown for both Quins and England Under-21 to fruition with us.”
