Warriors lose financial support

Welsh regional side Celtic Warriors have suffered a severe blow with the announcement that their benefactor Leighton Samuel is to withdraw financial support.

The Warriors squad includes Welsh stars such as Gareth Thomas, Robert Sidoli and Gareth Cooper. Earlier this season, they caused a huge Heineken Cup upset by defeating English champions Wasps away from home.
