Ireland match-winner Shane Byrne enjoyed today’s RBS 6 Nations romp over Wales so much that he simply did not want the 80 minutes to end at Lansdowne Road.

Hooker Byrne supplied two first-half tries to help put Ireland out of sight on their way to a 36-15 win which got them off the mark in this year’s Six Nations and dented hopes of a continuing revival in Welsh rugby.
