Munster handed home draw if they beat Stade
Munster will have a home draw in the semi-final of the Heineken Cup if they can overcome Stade Francais in their quarter-final.
Minister for Sport John O'Donoghue drew out the Munster-Stade Francais pairing first in the Heineken Cup semi-final draw in Dublin today.
O'Donoghue, himself a proud Munster supporter, smiled as it was confirmed that the Irish province will now have a home route to the final.
If they beat Stade Francais in Thomond Park on the second weekend in April, they will face the winners of Wasps and Gloucester at Lansdowne Road a fortnight later.
Heineken Cup semi-final draw:
Munster/Stade Francais v Wasps/Gloucester
Toulouse/Edinburgh v Llanelli/Biarritz (matches to be played April 24/25).
