The IRFU has expressed confidence that the proposed redevelopment of Lansdowne Road will not face any major planning obstacles, despite the concerns of local residents.

The residents met last night to discuss the €300m project. They expressed concerns about the planned size of the new stadium and the fact that it would encroach on a walkway beside the River Dodder.
