Harlequins, unchanged from last weekend’s 50-17 success over Garryowen, continued their impressive form against Munster’s best as they ran out four-try 33-16 winners over Dolphin at Musgrave Park.

A fourth consecutive win looked out of their reach by half-time as despite scoring the first half’s only try through scrum half Reece Spee.

Dolphin held the lead at 9-5 thanks to three penalties from out-half John O’Mahony, to add to his tally of 29 penalties already this season.

Harlequins have been scoring liberally as of late and they stepped it up a gear after the break, going on to score three more tries for a 33-try tally in their last nine games.

Full-back Willem Slabbert, who scored five against Garryowen, crossed again on 57 minutes, with Chris McCarey and out-half Ajay Derwin also touching down.

Slabbert converting all three second-half efforts, and added two penalties for a well deserved sixth win of the season.

Harlequins are now up to fourth in the table, with Dolphin, who saw Shane Madigan go over for his second try of the season late one, fourth from the bottom of Division One.
