Williams has high hopes for Scotland
Scotland coach Matt Williams claims the current funding of the national side is “diabolical” but insists he will still be able to succeed with his ultimate aim of having the country’s best players plying their trade in Scotland.
Williams, who took over from Ian McGeechan last year, is seeking to implement his ‘Fortress Scotland’ policy which would see all the Scottish internationals playing for Scotland’s three professional teams before the next World Cup in 2007.
