Wallace to be celebrated at dinner
The rugby career of Paul Wallace will be celebrated at his Testimonial Dinner at the Burlington Dinner on Thursday evening.
The occasion will be loaded with rugby stars from the past and present. Chief among these will be French legend Phillippe Sella and Wallaby great Michael Lynagh.
Wallace was forced into retirement by ongoing injury problems. He made his Ireland debut against Japan in RWC 1995 and went on to win 46 caps between 1995 and 2002.
He was also an integral part of the famous British & Irish Lions Test series win in South Africa in 1997.
