Johnson deserves place in history - Woodward

Clive Woodward believes a World Cup final appearance would be a fitting tribute to the work done by Martin Johnson and his senior colleagues in reshaping English international rugby over the last four years.

Since bowing out of the last World Cup in the quarter-finals, England developed into genuine championship contenders and cemented their place on top of the world rankings with historic away victories over New Zealand and Australia in June.
